My Hoverstates are only working sometimes

Jul 29, 2020

Hi, i have created an animated hoverstate for my Next ("Weiter")-Buttons. Now i've got the problem that this hoverstate often doesn't trigger the First time i hover above the button. Sometimes i have to leave the Button with my mouse and hover over it again to trigger it. This happens only sometimes and i can't see any links why this would happen.

Does anyone have an Idea for this problem?

I have added a short version of the eLearning as .story but noticed its not happening there as often as in the "big" project. Just for you to take a look.

Thanks for the help already!

It works for me. You could play around with the entrance/exit animation speeds. I'd make the entrance .25 not .75 and I'd drop the exit animation.

My guess is the issue you see is that the entrance takes .75 and exit takes .75 and when you move before those complete, it may confuse what should be happening.

Hi, thanks for the suggestions. To help you understand what my problem is i added a video with the problem. You can see two slides, the first is working properly and the second is not even starting the animation only if i start to hover over it a second time (I can click the button, just the animation is not triggered).

It only happens sometimes but no matter if i open it in Articulate or Review.

I am going to try to change the animation speed and exit animation.

It's happening with the sample file as well, the video shown is the sample file. Also a coworker tried it in Review and had the same problem. (Different Internetconnection and computer) so i dont know why that keeps happening or why you cant reproduce the issue.

Do you have any ideas why it could happen, despite the fact you cant reproduce it?
