I have lines that appear on some of my slides (attached), and I can't figure out what they are. They don't appear as objects in my timeline. Could they be related to the hotspots (slide 1--it only appears when you hover over the left-hand column) or markers (slide 2) I'm using? Thanks in advance for any help you can give.
I've just published my course to our LMS using TinCan API. While testing it, it doesn't seem like our LMS is recognizing that the course has been completed. When I get to the last slide and close the course window, it doesn't kick to the next phase of my LMS course. Do I need to do something within the course to indicate a point of completion?
For the LMS not recognizing completion, let's first narrow down whether the problem is related to your LMS or the course itself.
Upload the published output to SCORM Cloud, and let me know if the same error happens there. If you'd like some help with that testing, attach your file here, and I'll do the rest. ☺️
Thanks for sharing a copy of your project. I uploaded it to SCORM Cloud so that you can test it here. Looks like you restricted the navigation - so you may be able to get through it faster than me, knowing all the answers. 😉
If you still don't see the completion successful message, let us know - and we'll want to see the .story file as well.
It didn't seem like there were any completion issues when I tried the course in SCORM Cloud, but I am still having a problem with my LMS not recognizing completion. Would you take a look at the story file (attached) and see if I'm missing something? Currently, our LMS does not have any clients who use TinCan, so it may be a glitch on their end.
Additionally, could you check to make sure that I've set the course up correctly to track learner answers to quiz questions?
It all looks to be set up correctly - in that you have your results slide tracking the questions and using the results slide as your completion requirement (set up in the publishing options).
If the course tracked correctly in SCORM Cloud, that's something you'd want to share with your LMS team as it's an indication that Storyline is sending the data as expected. If you want a bit more information to back that up, enable LMS debug mode - that'll let you see the data Storyline sends back to the LMS.
Feel free to keep us posted on what you find out from them!
I tried to upload another course to the SCORM Cloud for testing, and I didn't have administrative access to the realm. Can you tell me the name of the realm for the account you established with my email address?
Hey there, Ellen. You can set up a SCORM Cloud account -- they're free with a minimal amount of storage. Once you have an account created, you can upload your zipped SCORM output, launch and see the reporting on your end, as well.

Hi there Ellen!
I found an errant line on the "CustomCorrect Fdbk" layout. To remove it, you'll want to...
I didn't see any lines on Slide 2, so hopefully the fix from above will do the trick. Let me know if that helps!
Ugh, of course. Yes, that did it! Thank you, Alyssa!
Alyssa, can you help me with one more thing?

Hi, Alyssa -
Attached here is the zip file of the course I'm having trouble with. Let me know what you find. Thank you, thank you!
