I am creating a resource in accounting and I need numeric fields to be added up to give me a total number. However, if a certain field is backspace and left on its on, the results of the total number is labeled as "NaN"
I understand that the "NaN" issue was discussed years back but I could not find an actual solution to this problem.
The best forum thread for assistance with this can be found here. There are a few ideas and solutions. The easiest being to use text entry field instead of numeric to avoid the issue.
Hopefully any users with some additional insight or experience will be able to chime in and assist as well.
