Navigation with lightbox
Aug 11, 2023
Hello everyone.
I have a Storyline 360 course that is giving me an error than I don't know how to resolve. I detail the reproduction sequence:
1. I visualize slide 1 and 2.
2. From Slide 2, I open a lightbox that has more than one slide.
3. I close the lightbox. In this moment, I continue on slide 2.
4. I go back to slide 1 to review content.
5. Going forward, you should see slide 2. But I see the content of the lightbox, as if it were a slide.
This error means that the students cannot follow the training and they have to eliminate the attempt and start the course again. It happens to me every time a lightbox is opened. Any ideas to fix it?
Thank's

I'm thinking you have the "When revisiting:" set wrong in the Slide Properties. Do you want them to be able to revisit the lightbox slides when they go back to slide 2?
1. Try using layers on the lightboxed slide, instead of additional slides. It is very tricky to lightbox several slides, and get them to return correctly. I think you may have to build your own "close lightbox" and "jump (return) to" triggers.
2. On slide one, use "jump to slide two" trigger, instead of "jump to next".
