Need button to hover, but not be clickable or just help with hotspot triggers

Hi,

I'm using Storyline 3. I have a hotspot quiz slide. I cannot get it to work correctly. I have a button for a hint available. I want them to be able to click this button if they need a hint. But, every time I click it, it comes up as an incorrect answer. I made it a Hover over and that works, but then if I click, it still comes up as incorrect anyway. I tried a hotspot over it and then a clear shape over it. But, if I click them, they are automatically coming up as incorrect. How can I fix this and make to where either you cannot click it at all and only hover, or you can click it (to see the Hint layer) and then it not count as incorrect automatically. I can't figure out how to get it to not count against you when you click it.
