I have a page where there are 4 options whereby users can choose either Yes or No (for each option). Once they have chosen either Yes or No for the 4 options the NEXT button then becomes active. I am not sure how to set this up and hoping someone can assist? I have attached an example for you to see what I am trying to do.
Hiya, I downloaded and unzipped your file but cannot open in Storyline. It's saved in XML format. Are you able to resave as a storyline fie please, unless there is a way to open in the format attached.
see attached sample file. I have added four shapes offstage and use those in the triggers for the four questions. I have also added a variable 'slide comp' . See if you can understand what I have done - if not shout out
Did you publsh the file and zip it? I have attached what I see on the zipped folder. It appears that the story file has been packaged in some way. If this is what you have done, could you please just attach the articulate storyfile individually. Sorry to be a pest.
no I didn't publish...it is your original example.story file edited so it is a storyline source file with a .story extension as you can see above in the post.
I've heard before that people are seeing the uploaded .story files as zips. Usually by changing the extension from .zip to .story they have been able to open.
If you don't have any luck I will type out what I did and you can update your source file.
Just checking when you download that 'zip' are you extracting the files and not just trying to open the zipped package - that might work for you...
Oh my goodness, success! I was downloading then renaming the zip file to .story. When I saved as and renamed it worked. Thanks so much Wendy for helping me with this and for your patience. I can see what you have done to get this to work.
Glad you were able to open it Maree - as Wendy mentioned I've heard of that happening to a few other people in terms of files downloading as zipped files, and if I remember correctly I think it's a system security setting. Saving it as a .story file tends to resolve the behavior - so glad that worked for you!

Hi Wendy,
Thanks :) When I open the zipped content it is in XML format. How do I open this in Storyline v2?
Hi Maree
not sure why you are seeing it like that - try changing the extension of the file after you have downloaded it to .story.
I downloaded your file and it was fine...must be a setting somewhere - not sure where
