I m a new user of Articulate Storyline and I m trying to change the settings of my slides size or the settings of the seekbar because for the moment in the preview mode the seekbar is hiding the bottom of my slide with clickable areas sometimes which is really anoying.
Is anyone able to help me with this ?
I've tried to change the size of the slides in 'Desgin' 'Slide Set up' but it doesn't change anything.
Can you upload your .story file or even a screenshot so we can see what you mean. If you upload a screenshot, just use the add image button at the top of the post. If uploading your .story file, use the grey 'Add Attachment' button at the bottom of the post.
Thanks for your resonse Wendy ! Here are some pictures to explain it better
For the first slide I can see the caption I created but I can't click on the hotspot at the bottom of my slide because it's masked by the player bar. In the second image the caption and hotspot are high enough so no problem (Just so you see when it's working). And on the last image the caption and the hotspot when user needs to click are hidded by the player bar.
I would like to be able to see the full slide everytime
I think it has to do with the size of the recording - see this older post it may have some ideas for how you can adjust the screen size - specifically Jeff's comment (last one on the post).
Also, here are the specs for player sizing that may be useful for you.
Still not found how to display the whole slide and still have the player but at least I know how to remove the player now thank you very much for your help !
You mentioned the full slide, but from the images I'm not sure I'm clear on that. When you're conducting the screen recording are you able to see all the elements within the recording? Have you added any zooming slide elements?
You mentioned that it's confidential, but if you can share with our Support team here they can sign an NDA as well.
Based on the screenshots, it looks like parts of the video are off-stage. Is it possible the video size was larger than the size of the canvas, covered up the canvas, and then subsequent hotpots, etc. were all placed over the video without seeing where the canvas ended? Based on the pictures provided, that would be my best guess.

Hey Emma
is this a screen recording or are they images you've placed on slides using the Insert > picture option.
might be easier for someone to help if you can upload the .story file
It's a screen recording but the green boxes are just shapes I've inserted on the slides
It's a huge file and with some confidential information that's why I'm not uploading it sorry
