I am pretty new to storyline, and am trying to get text that is entered on a base layer to show on the second layer.
I created text input boxes on base layer with a 'I'm Done' button to advance to the second layer. I then used variable references that corresponded with the text input boxes on the second layer ex: %TextInput13%, but when I preview the slide no text is carrying over from the base layer. Not sure what I am doing wrong!

Curious if you've marked the slide layer property to hide the base layer perhaps?
