Need help with Timer Functionality
Mar 06, 2019
Hi Team,
Need your guidance on one of the issue that client has raised.
In one of the course developed in Storyline 360, we have a timer functionality, where if user is idle for certain time, a popup appears with OK button. If user click the OK button, the course resumes, but if user do not click on OK course gets exit after 10 seconds.
We have called the popup at the end of the timeline.
Now, client wants a functionality where if user Pause the course using player pause button, then also this pop up should appear. However, as if user is in between the slide and pauses the slide, the timeline does not reach the end and the functionality does not gets executed.
Is there any workaround here, where we can add any functionality on Player’s Play/Pause button. Or any other suggestions are welcome.

Hi Nilesh!
There isn't a built-in feature that would allow you to trigger a layer when clicking the player pause button, but you might be able to make this work using Javascript. That kind of coding is outside my wheelhouse, so hopefully other Java-savvy folks can chime in to help!
