Need to hide sensitive information in a simulation video

May 27, 2019

I need to hide sensitive information in a simulation video. For elements static on screen, I added shapes to hide the information. But there are some instances where the video is scrolling to show functionalities at the bottom of the screen. During this, since the shape is not a part if the video, I am unable to get it move along and hide the information.

Please let me know if there is a workaround.

Keep in mind that if the information is really sensitive, and you need to make sure no one can see it, you should hide it by editing the video first, before inserting the video in Storyline. Otherwise it is possible for someone to grab your raw video without the shapes that you place over it to hide the information.

Oh can I edit the text in the video at recording stage? I will try this for sure! Thank you so much!
