Normaly, the next and previous button works when the timeline reached his end. Actually, all our E-Learnings don't react to them and the user can click next even if the timeline was set for example 20 secs. Some days ago, this didn't exist.
Hi, Marco -- Thanks so much for your question and sorry to hear of your difficulties! May I ask if you have followed the steps here to Temporarily Disable or Hide Navigation buttons until the learner in finished interacting with the slide?
Thanks for your precious support. I'm using Articulate 2 since approx. 1 year. Since then, the navigation buttons are automatically related to the timeline. That means, that if the timeline of a slide is 30 secs. the user can click the next button but there's no reaction. But at sec. 31, the button does react. I have this issue since 2 Weeks. Surely, the Workaround with "change state of" is also a solution but it doesn't correspond to the main function of the software. So I'm asking if it is a Software Issue or did I forgot something in the parameters...?!? Best Regards from Switzerland
Hi, Marco -- Thank you for your reply! Would it be possible to take a look at your file? If privacy is a concern, please feel free to use this form to submit.
If the Navigation Restriction is set to "Restricted", the Next button is disabled until the timeline ends. If it is set to "Free", the user can advance at any time by clicking Next.
Great - nice - super! Thank you very much Walt. That's exactly what I missed and I even didn't knew this Option. So I suppose that it was set up to Free in the past by anyone in the team. Gggrrrrrrr...... Thanks again Walt, made my day. Nice easter Time to everyone. Best Regars

And if this issue has only recently surfaced, you may want to take a look the the troubleshooting steps listed here, and please be sure that your are testing your published output in the intended environment, as well.
