My eLearning is working perfectly as a StoryLine file, but when I publish my eLearning as an LMS file w/ SCORM 1.2 Output, when I open/ close a Lightbox and return to the original slide, the NEXT button goes disabled, and I cannot proceed. I have tried in Chrome AND IE with no success, and have tried adding variables, removing variables, removing state changes on my NEXT button, etc. I have also tried leaving the NEXT button as active when the slide starts but nothing works.
Thank you for the reply. I have attached the Scene that is giving me difficulties. Slide 1.3 lightboxes to slide 1.6; when the user presses NEXT> on the lightbox, it is supposed to close and return to slide 1.3. When doing so, slide 1.3 shows the NEXT> button disabled.
Hey Shawn - Thanks for sharing your file and allowing us to take a look.
I recorded a Peek video going through the section you are explaining, and I'm not seeing an issue with the Next button. Tell me what I'm missing or the steps to recreate the behavior.
Thanks for the reply. It works perfectly as a .story file within Storyline2, but when I "Publish" it and view it as an html or html5 file, the issue arises.
I published your file and went through the section - the only issue I see is that the Next button on the lightbox is disabled so to get out of 1.6 I click the red x - but on closing it, the slide 1.3 next button is enabled and I can move forward.
Do you have an issue with my published output here?
Now I'm curious if the issue may lie within your LMS since I cannot seem to recreate the issue in SCORM Cloud. Let me know what you're seeing. Again, steps to recreate if you see it :)
Yes, it works perfectly in your SCORM Cloud LMS, so there must be an issue with it in SCORM 1.2. I'm guessing this is not a Storyline issue, and I'd need to review with my internal contacts?
when I published the file I used your publish settings which is set to Scorm1.2 so I'd be checking with your LMS administrator/vendor support to help you - all the best.

Hi Shawn
hard to say without seeing your file and what triggers you have...can you share your file?
Hello Shawn and welcome to E-Learning Heroes :)
I agree with Wendy and taking a look at your file would be helpful. You can attach it right here to your forum reply:

Is this something you can assist with? =)
Thanks for the details Shawn - I'll take another look with publishing the file.

Well Shawn - I'm still not seeing it.

Did this ever get resolved. We're having the exact same issue that Shawn ran into.
Hi Oliver
Shawn didn't reply if he got it sorted - perhaps you can click his profile picture and contact him directly.
