Next button revealed only after media completes
Nov 26, 2012
Hi there,
I'm working on a project that contains a voice recording on every slide. I want to ensure learners listen to all the media on each slide before advancing to the next slide. I've set up this course whereby the learner must advance to the next slide by clicking the Next button on the player.
How can I restrict learners from fastracking through this training module? Most slides have one player trigger and no layers but there are three slides that have a number of oject triggers to reveal layers with audio.
Any help you can provide would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Kirsten

Hi Kristen,
I would love to help but I am not sure what you are trying to do. Could you post your project so not just me could help? Now, I understand that you may want to keep it private, if that is the case make a tiny example of what you are trying to do please.

This link may be helpful. It's all about how to disable the 'next' button until users have finished interacting with the slide.

Thanks for the info Hannah! The link you posted is exactly what I'm looking for and it's worked out so far. I'm a little concerned as I get to the slides that have multiple slide layers with audio because the scroll bar doesn't seem to match the audio recording.....but I'll wait to see if it works. Thanks again.
