I have set the Storyline 360 player to "by user" for my slides, but the "next" button does not become active immediately. I am new to this and figure I am just missing something, but would appreciate your help.
are there any triggers on the Next button (they may be on master slide) that could be affecting this or is the menu set to restricted it may be the next won't be available until the timeline ends - check the duration of your timeline? Happy to take a look if you'd like to share the .story file.
If your project's Navigation Restriction is set to Restricted or Locked, the next button will be disabled until the end of the slide's timeline. By default a slide is 5 seconds long.
Try using Free navigation. Or if you still want to use Restricted or Locked settings, there's a check box that can be unchecked for Lock Next / Previous buttons.
Thanks, Wendy and Russel, for your responses. I think what was happening was having to wait for the timeline. I have been told to restrict the navigation so I can't change that. I did go in a change the timelines for my slides and that worked. Thank you so much!
