Next slide when state changed

Hi,

I've just started to use Storyline, I find it quite intuitive; it's pretty cool.

I just need help with a trigger; the first box shown is what is shown on the slide. Once clicked, I've set it to change state to the second box. On that click, I also want it to go to the next slide, however; the way I've set it, it seems to just jump straight to the slide and show a milisecond of the clicked state.

Any advice please?

Take the image you are using for the state, and place it over the first box, making its state hidden. Give it a straight line motion path, with a length of 0. This will automatically add a trigger to box 2 that starts it on the motion path when it becomes normal

Add trigger to box 1: Change state of box 2 to normal when user clicks box 1.

Add trigger to box 2: Jump to next slide when animation motion path 1 ends.
