I tried my published courses on iPhone, iPad (Safari and Chrome), and there's no audio on speaker. Unless I plugged my headsets in, otherwise, I cannot hear any thing.
I tried both on Amazon S3 and Scorm Cloud with several courses, and I got the same result. NO AUDIO ON SPEAKER.
I have the latest version of Storyline 360 v3.7.12674.0. When I publish, I always use standard setting from Articulate and select HTML5/Flash fallback.
Sorry that's happening, Virak! Smart move to open a case--that's the best way to get help for this kind of thing. Could you also send us your original .story file using this link? Thanks!
It's been reported to our team for further investigation, but no updates as of yet. In the meantime it does appear that turning off the mute or plugging the iOS device into a speaker/headset/etc. allows the audio to play as expected so I hope you're able to use that in the time being!
No changes yet - you'd need to disable the mute or plug in a headset to your iOS device to hear the audio. We do have this as an issue with our team to look at what settings could be changed in Storyline, but no updates as of yet.
I got the solution to my ealier query. My iPhone device button was on mute mode (button next to audio + - ), I changed it to mute off mode and now its working fine.
Glad you figured it out, Kailas! That would have been my suggestion as well. If you're not using a set of headphones or plugged into a speaker the iOS device needs to have the mute button off.
I wanted to update this discussion and share that we are no longer seeing this bug, iOS (iPad tested) mute/do not disturb does not prevent Rise audio/media from playing through iPad speakers, in our latest version of Storyline 360.

You don't say if you have troubleshooted the IOS.
Have you tried googling if it's an IOS issue? Here and here are a few discussions
Oh, the devices are fine. I tried play music, youtube and other media on speaker and I can hear them as normal.

Hi Alyssa, is there any update with this? Was it solved with the latest release of SL360 or not?

Same problem. Any further insights or fixes?

Facing same issue with iPhone. Audio doesn't play on speaker mode but, it plays when headphones/earphones are connected.
Any updates on this?
Hey guys,
I got the solution to my ealier query. My iPhone device button was on mute mode (button next to audio + - ), I changed it to mute off mode and now its working fine.
Hope this may help you!

Thanks for posting this solution Kailas. Now I know why my iPad wasn't playing the audio! Whew.
Glad this helped Janis!
This helps a lot.
Is there a fix in for this in the future? It isn't intuitive for our users since on my iphone I can hear everything else through the speakers....
Hi, Stephanie. Appreciate you sharing your experience with us, and glad to hear Kailas' tip helps in the meantime!
No ETA on a solution as of yet, but I promise we'll keep everyone here in the know on any new insight. Here's an inside look at how we tackle bugs once they're reported!
Hello everyone!
I wanted to update this discussion and share that we are no longer seeing this bug, iOS (iPad tested) mute/do not disturb does not prevent Rise audio/media from playing through iPad speakers, in our latest version of Storyline 360.
I'd recommend using Storyline 360 (Build 3.61.27106.0) or later.
