I used storyline a little 6 years ago. I didn't realize how complicated the newest versions (S3) is for what I need it to do. Now at a tiny non-profit that does not have an LMS and I have to publish content. Should I publish to Web, or HTML5? Having trouble. 100 questions quiz took so long to load (over 20 minutes) before I ended the task. Figuring I must be doing something wrong. I thought I could just direct learners to a link! Especially because for this piece I do not need any record keeping. That will change in the future.
Publish for the Web and choose to create a zip file at the same time. Step two, find a web hosting that lets you upload files to their web server - typically through some time of friendly dashboard like CPanel or Plesk. Third, upload your project to your web host account; probably the .zip file to make sure everything gets there. Place the zip file under public_html directory, and unzip on the web server.
Good luck. I recommend Bluehost, Dreamhost and Amazon Web Services, though AWS is a bit tougher to figure out.
