We are facing issue with out courses which we have created. Issue is that we are not able to get the answered verb for most of attempts. We are not able to receive the statement with answered verb. But in few attempts we do get the statements with answered verb. In other attempts the answered verb statements are missing entirely not even single statement with answered verb is recorded at our end. How can we know that what answered was given by user. Is there any way please let me know so that we can fix the correct answer count at our end.
So sorry to hear you're having trouble, Shishir. I see you also opened a support case, and you're working with my colleague Ryan. He suggested that you test your file in SCORM Cloud to see if the same problem happens there.
If you have any questions about that, feel free to reach out to me or to Ryan in your case!
I'm a developer using Storyline courses as part of a TinCan LMS. I see this problem also, and it's not clear either to myself or the content author what we need to do to persuade Storyline to report the statements with the "answered" verb, though the documentation seems to say it should be sent for all questions. (I've read somewhere this problem may be specific to HTML 5 versions ?)
Has this problem been confirmed or fixed? Thanks, Steve
Yes - I believe so. I'm not building the courses, just using them.
It is implied by your documentation that *all* cmi.interactions will report an "answered" statement so the TinCan LMS. This statement is not being sent in many cases. The other statements that I expect are being sent.
So do you know for which interations the "answered" verb is sent? Should it be all of them? Or a subset?
Are you able to connect with the course author? If so, we'd love to take a look at the files and what you're seeing. Can you have that individual upload the .story file to our team here?

Storyline version: <!-- version: 3.13.15006.0 -->
Hi Steve!
Shishir was using Storyline 2, and it sounds like you're using Storyline 360. Is that correct?
Can you tell me what question type you're using, and what exactly data you're expecting to be sent to the LMS?
