I don't believe there is a slide crop capability per se.
You can resize your slide dimensions by selecting the Design tab from the ribbon, clicking the far-left item: "Slide size" and changing the dimensions from the panel that appears.
If the problem is the slides are too large for your typical user setup, you may find selecting "Resize browser to fill screen" on the Player properties>Other panel does the job without the potential for disrupting your layouts.
I know you're not asking this, but you can crop an image by double-clicking it and using the crop control that appears in the ribbon.
