This thread is a bit dated, but I took a look at some of my published output and I'm not seeing this folder. Do you have a .story file that I could take a look at and publish?
Thanks Becky! I see what you are referring to now. It seems that when you complete the publishing process by zipping the contents from the Publish Successful dialog box, then you no longer see this folder, which is why I wasn't following along. Are you having difficulty with something? I can reach out to the team to see if there is a technical answer/reason to share, but I'm no developer, so why would not be something I could assist with :)
Our programmer for our website does not allow us to upload empty folders to our site and was asking us to remove the "notes" folders for our Storyline content. Since your original response to this thread indicated that we should not modify the content in the published folder we weren't sure how to handle it.
We could not support the modification of the published output for sure. Even when the content is zipped, prior to uploading to your site, there is an issue?
You want to be sure that all the contents are in the right place for sure, so uploading the zip file, then extracting/unzipping on your server and sharing the story.html file with your users should do the trick.

Hi P Liu and welcome to E-Learning Heroes!
We do not support the modification of the published output, so that would not be recommended by Articulate.
Can you offer any insight into why the folder is created and what it's purpose is?

My Storyline files include proprietary content, is there a way I could send it directly to you instead of posting it publicly?
Sure Becky! You can utilize this link.
Thanks, I just submitted a file.

We currently don't zip the content before it is posted to our site. I'll try that and see if it helps.
