Just created a Freeform slide with some drag and drops. However, when I preview or publish it the 'Notes' section does not display. There are notes in the notes field and I have turned them on in the Player. The other page which is not a freeform displays the notes properly.
What is going on? Do quiz or freeform slides not display Notes?
I'd agree with Rebecca that you'll want to check the individual slide property elements and ensure you didn't change that by mistake. If you're still having difficulty please share your .story file here with us.

Notes should display on freeform quizzes. Did the Notes checkbox somehow get unchecked for that slide? You could check by
If the Notes checkbox is unchecked, click to place a checkmark there.
