Notes/Transcript publishing different sized fonts.

Nov 22, 2018

I've recently been working on a project that requires a transcript. Our lead designer made a published a course that -when published- shows a transcript font size of 16pts.

I used the same template he used with all the same fonts and sizes but -when published or previewed- appears as 20pt font.

I haven't been able to figure out why this is. I even tried taking his file that (without being altered in any way) -when published or previewed- shows the wrong size font for the transcript.

I've made sure we were on the same version of Storyline, uninstalled and reinstalled Storyline, uninstalled fonts and reinstalled fonts, used another computer and ensured ALL player settings are identical.

Is there any known reason for this? I haven't found anything yet.

Hi Emerson,

That sounds like either 1 of 2 things:

1. Please set your pc to 96 DPI or text setting (you can fix this via control panel or settings). I think the default for Windows 10 here is  at 125%

2. Make your story line screens at 100%.
