I am trying to build a simple maths activity where I've used a numeric entry field. It all works as I want it to except that I can't get the initial visible entry to read anything other than zero.
Is there any way to get it to initially show as blank or even with visual character prompts (eg. ??) before they enter there answer. I found a post from 3 years ago on this but it wasn't possible then.
I noticed that you used the text entry field rather than the numeric entry field. I have updated my project to do it this way (as it works) but it seems odd that you can't do the same for a numeric entry field.
