Object in "Visited" state doesn't display
May 05, 2016
Hello!
First, I'd like to thank everyone here for all the amazing tips and suggestions posted. I've been referring to this site for a while, but this is my first actual post. I've run into something I just can't suss out. I have a picture box on a base layer which links to another slide and has 3 states: normal, hover, and visited. Each state shows up under "edit states" and the trigger/link to the next slide works fine. But when I preview the scene, click through and then come back to the original slide where I should see the "visited" state of the picture, the object is not there. When I mouse over the area where it should be, there's no response in the cursor. While I'm impressed I managed to "magic it away", I really need it to be there. Has anyone experienced this and solved it?
Many thanks!
Caryn

Hi Caryn!
Would you be able to share your .story file so that we can take a look?
Hi Leslie!
Thanks for your quick reply. I've stripped out everything except the slides in question as it's a rather large project and is still under wraps. You'll see that in one case, there is a text box included in the state but not in the others. That's b/c I tried Phil's trick for applying states to groups in case that changed anything, but it didn't.
Appreciate your help!

Hi Caryn!
You had a manual setting for the hover state in the trigger panel even though you are utilizing the built in states. I do think this was confusing the slide.
I deleted those triggers and it seems to be working.
Amazing! Thank you so much.
No problem Caryn. Glad I could assist.
