Object, normal, visited states

I have an object on a page with a normal and a visited state. Once the learner clicks on the object, they are taken to some information on a slide layer and click an X on the layer to return to the Base Layer. It all works, but once the learner comes back to the page, I want them to be able to click on the object again if they want to review the information. However, it remains grayed out after I click on it. Can anyone help with this please? I tried editing the layer properties to resume to saved and reset to initial, neither of those worked for me.

Hi Perinda
hard to say without seeing your file? Can you share the file or even just the slide
Sure, here you go! It's slide 1.3. I've been messing with it trying everything to get it to work, so it's not in the original format I described now. Thanks!
You may not be able to access that file it's on a network drive. Saved to another location. Hopefully one works.
Hi Perinda
I've just looked in your file and previewed and 1.3 works fine for me - have you published and uploaded to somewhere and it's not working? Which browser are you using?
Here is a quick Peek video of what I see
Is it possible to have a button on one slide show as visited when the timeline on another slide is complete? In other words, I am wanting the button on Slide A to show visited only after the user has completed Slides B and C.

Hey Crystal,
This does sound possible! You'll need to use variables to make it work. Without seeing the exact setup of your file, I'm thinking you could go this route:
Let me know if that works!
Alyssa,
I just watched a tutorial and it is starting to make sense. I would like to send you my .story file via email so that you can take a look if you don’t mind?

Sure, Crystal, you can send it privately by clicking here. Be sure to let me know which slides I need to focus on. 😁
