Objects Changing Location from Front to Back After Publishing

I have had this happen a few times. I create an interaction that once an object is clicked or engaged with, a check mark appears showing complete. On some slides... not all.... after I publish.... the checkmark doesn't appear on top of the image like I designed, its behind everything. This is totally random when it happens. There are times it is completely fine and others like whats attached. 

If I add an animation to the object, it appears where it is supposed to. I have deleted the check and re-added it. I have deleted the triggers out and added them back. 

I can keep the animation in for the time being. This training that I am releasing will be a one off so I am not too concerned. There are a couple compliance courses I have put together where this happens. 

Any suggestions?
