Is there any way to change a player trigger for multiple slides? I'm trying to change what the "next" player button does in this whole scene, and it would be oh so wonderful if I could keep these 30 minutes to myself and do something other than click repetitively changing to "next scene"....
Oh man, Wendy! The suggestion doesn't necessarily help me with the particular issue I posted about, but I can DEFINITELY foresee it helping me with other issues! As soon as I read your post, I looked at the tutorial and started testing it out on Storyline... Unfortunately, for whatever reason, it doesn't seem to work in the project I'm in. :( Maybe something to do with all of the slides I'm trying to change having screencasts in them? But I'm excited about the possibilities and will continue to play with it. :) Thank you so much!!
Screen recordings that you insert as a step by step set up are included as a part of the slide background, so they may be covering elements you've added to your slide master and that could be why it's not allowing you to adjust those triggers you're looking for.
For the original problem, I ended up just clicking through and changing the "next" button's action for each slide. Wah wah.
And for another addition that I had tried to use master slides for, I found that the trigger showed up on a slide that I'd put a screenshot on and not on any of the slides with a screen recording. So it is indeed the screen recording that was messing me up. :( I ended up just doing it the old-fashioned hard way and copy and pasted for the 21 slides (twice over since I made it a layer and then had to put a trigger for the layer as well). Ah well. Had to get the elbow grease out for both issues. Hopefully I'll find a better way/something will be built to make this easier in the future though!

You could add the button to a master slide and then apply the master slide layout to your slides
This tutorial may help you

Hi Jazzmine,

If you're looking at adjusting from slide to slide you could also look at using the copy/paste trigger options.

Glad you were able to figure it out though! Thanks for coming back to update us.
