Overlapping Sound files

Hi Heroes,

I'm transferring some old elearning modules made originally in Presenter to Storyline. Every slide, except one has the same narration talking on top of the true slide narration. In the timeline, there is only one sound file shown and only one audio icon located off screen, there are no layers used - it's a very basic module and I've checked the master slides, but there are no audio files there.

Has anyone had this happen or know of a solution for this?

Hi Linda,

By any chance, was the missing audio originally used as a playlist in your Presenter course? If so, that wouldn't come over in the import, but other audio should.

Can you send us the Presenter files that you're having trouble with for us to check out? First, create an Articulate Presenter Package of your presentation as described here. Then upload the resulting zip file from your computer on the second page of this form, and we''ll attempt to diagnose what's happening when we receive your upload.

Hi Peter,

No, there wasn't a playlist for the course, it's just the narration from the Learning Objectives slide that is playing over the other slides. The course was originally made in Presenter, but has been imported into Storyline - that's where the problem has occurred. Can you send me a link to package Storyline files?

Hi Linda,

No need to package Storyline files. You can just upload the .story file. And feel free to share your case number when you get one so I can follow up on it.
