It's my first question I woul like to paste text from another project using the comands of the keyboard. I know Crtl+V but i would like to know if there is another to paste keeping text only.
In the buttom apeears a H, but i dont know which comand i have to use with it. Thank you!
I apologize, but I'm not quite sure what you're asking. You're wanting to copy text only from a Storyline project, into another project? I'm not sure how you'd go about doing this. However, what you could do is import the slide from your original project into the new project and just remove the elements that you don't want to so, keeping only the text.
The only other alternative I can think of would be to paste the content into a word processing program that doesn't support the other elements. Maybe Notepad? You could then select that text and paste it into your project. Not sure if that would work for you, but maybe it'll help
I think what Irene means is she's looking for a keystroke combo that will paste the text without any formatting. I don't believe there currently is within Storyline.
And I think what Irene is referring to when she says "In the buttom apeears a H," is this:
After you've copied something and then look at the Paste button in the Clipboard group, Home tab (see below) the 3 choices also show a letter character when you hover over them. You'd think you could use a keystroke combination to insert the clipboard text, but I asked quite a while back, and the last response I rec'd from Articulate is that these keystrokes aren't functional, at least not right now.
As you suggested, Christine, I often find in these types of situations the fastest turn-around is to copy/paste to Notepad, which strips out all formatting, and then copy/paste from Notepad into the destination.
Rebeca is allright. I was talking about a keystroke combo that will paste the text without any formatting. Thanks a lot for your answer. I'll try to explain me better next time.
Moving a bit deeper into the Copy/Paste function...
I would like to Copy/Paste (Keep Source Format) a scene from one SL project into another one. Simply put, there are issues such as text format, text box format, background images not coming over on specific slides.
In many applications the default short-cut for "Paste Unformatted" is: Ctrl+Shift+v
I think this is what Irene may have been hoping for originally, but unfortunately it is not available in Storyline at present. It would be great if this became available eventually as I need to copy large amounts of text from various sources, each with their own crazy formatting.
If anyone is still looking for this, I would recommend the free windows program Ditto. it's a clipboard manager that has a shortcut to paste plain text only. It also can save the most recent thousand or more of things copied for later searching. I use it daily and it has saved me so often from losing things.

Hi! Sorry about my english.
Rebeca is allright. I was talking about a keystroke combo that will paste the text without any formatting. Thanks a lot for your answer. I'll try to explain me better next time.
Regards.
Irene, your English is just fine. Wish that I could communicate as well in a second language.
Hey ladies!
Just wanted to thank Rebecca for sharing this information. Sorry I wasn't able to get back to you sooner, Irene.
I hope you both have a great day/evening
Is there a fast solution other than clicking the Paste button and then "Keep text only (T)" ?
I've checked Storyline Options, and there's nothing like in Word 2010: "Always keep destination formatting" or so...
Thanks !

Any help or updates on this issue?

I think I figured it out... use the Import feature.
Thanks Rebecca - this should save me some time!

Hi Shane,
Yep! I agree. Do us all a favor? Please Submit a feature request (I did...if memory serves...memory, what memory?)
