Pause/Restart Video When Navigating Slides
Jun 03, 2015
I would like to design an interactive game that showcases multiple videos. The player needs to guess the name of the displayed video. If they are not sure of the displayed video, they can move forward and 'skip' to another video. At some point they will need to return to the unnamed video and propose a guess.
I would like to pause the video when they choose to skip forward. Then, when they return to the unnamed video, the video continues to play at the previous position where they left.
Any suggestions on how to Pause/Restart individual videos? Is this possible? And, should I do this with Slides or Layers? Appreciate any guidance.

Have you tried slide property as "Resume saved state"?
Hi, David - I also agree that "Resume Saved State" should work for what your are trying to accomplish. Please give it a go, and update if you are all set or still need more help! :)
Thanks all. I did come across this option after posting. It serves my needs as desired.
Fantastic news, David, and thanks for the update! :)
Alternatively you can pause the timeline on the base slide when the layer is shown.
Thanks for your suggestion as well, Kim. :)
