Pause taste and timeline not starts again
Nov 14, 2018
Hi,
we use Articulate Storyline 3
We need 2 suggestion
1) we have a project with a video and question. When user leave html page with video (for example to logout from site) and then he comes to use it again the video is paused, but the player shows button pause instead of play.If you he clicks button pause it becomes play but video is paused, if he clicks again it became pause and video starts. We have try to see the page with Chrome
2) we need to show a question for "x" seconds then we have to show a message "timeout" then we have to show a video then previous question again. Whe we show question, at second time, always project shows message "timeout". How can we restart time?
Thank you

Hello Chiara and welcome to E-Learning Heroes :)
Thanks for reaching out. Would you be able to share your .story file so that we can take a look and understand what you are working on and best help you?
Thi is my project
Hi Chiara,
Thanks for sharing your project!
I took a look and what you're seeing with the play/pause is expected and I described that further in the video here.
For the second piece of the timer, I'll leave that to the community to take a look at! I'm certain they'll have ideas about your custom timer needs.
I see your video, but the problem Is another .
I share a video

Hello Chiara,
From your video, it looks like the problem happens after you refresh the browser tab. Is that right?
Do you notice the same thing happens when you host the project on a different web server (like Tempshare) or LMS (like SCORM Cloud)?
I can't use them because when I came back the always start from the first slide. In mutua project I have to start I have to start from the last slide I have visited.
Hi Chiara,
Tempshare and SCORM Cloud are used for testing purposes, but ultimately you can host your published content on your own web server.
We hosted your file on SCORM Cloud, and we did see the same issue you described. Here's a screen recording of our testing.
I'm going to share this with our support engineers for further insight. Keep an eye out for an email from the team!
