I'm trying to get the timeline to pause, then resume after a text entry is made. Everything works perfect, except everytime the Timeline pauses. It automatically starts saying the begining of the audio. Why is it doing that? Attached is my file with the slide.
Hi, Nadja -- Thanks for sharing your file and sorry you are running into issues! I will run some testing for you first thing in the morning, but in the meantime, have you had an opportunity to take a look at this information on unexpected or erratic behavior in SL2?
Hi, Nadja -- Thanks so much for your patience, and I would have to agree with Wendy and Stratbeans' assessment and suggestions. Please check out the file Stratbeans attached, and let us know if that will work for you or if you would like additional assistance. :)

Hi Nadja
its because you have the same audio clip repeated on the base layer and the Text entry 5 layer.
Hi Nadja,
I have changed a few unnecessary triggers and as suggested by wendy(removed the extra VO on the layer.
So this is what i did,
1. Removed the VO from the layer
2. Removed the hide layer trigger from the base
3. Added a new trigger on the layer to hide the layer when the user clicks enter key on a condition -- if the TextEntry5 is not eqaul to blank
Now it runs smooth as butter.
Attaching the Story file
