I have a base layer with audio and four trigger layers with their own audio. The triggers are four different buttons. Is there a way to disable the button triggers until the base layer audio is complete?
I saw the option to pause the base layer audio when triggers are selected, but want the learner to listen to the audio on the base layer before moving on to the triggers.
Here is a slight variation of what Phil described. In my quick example, I initially show the disabled state for the layer buttons and once the base layer audio completes, the state of these buttons is changed to Normal. See attched story file and here is the published version.

The simple way is to add a transparent shape over the buttons until the audio has completed

Phil,
Thanks for the quick/easy fix! It worked great.
Thank you, I was looking for exactly this! Can we also use the variables using true/false to accomplish this?
Hi Kumiko,
I'm not sure that Phil or Michael are still subscribed to this thread, so you may want to PM them.
