Has anyone been able to do this? I'm aware of the 'fake pausing' method using the a slide layer to pause the main timeline. However, there doesn't seem to be a way to pause a slide layer.
BTW, I'm not using the seekbar so that's not an option.
I assume by the "fake pausing" method you're referring to this video? If you could offer a bit more about what you'd like to do (even including the .story file with the slide you're looking to pause) that'll help us determine what you're looking to do.
Yes, that video shows the method I've been using to pause the main timeline. My problem is using that method does not work when pausing a sequence, audio, etc on a layer...it only works for the main timeline.
I came across this thread with a suggestion from Christine to pause the layer using the seekbar. Would this work for you? If not, would you be able to share your .story file here with us so that I could take a look at how you've set things up? If you'd prefer, you can also share it with us privately.
