I like to build unique templates whenever I can. I did a little experiment using motion paths on gradient filled rectangles in the background of the Slide Master to see if I could put some subtle motion in the background of each slide. The concept is pretty simple, and I like the results.
Here is another variation on the same theme. I slowed the motion of the background down to 20 seconds, so now the background appears to slowly change color.
