Play sound when dragged object returns to starting spot

Mar 13, 2014

Hello! I was hoping someone could help me figure out how to fire off a sound when a dragged object returns to it's initial spot on the screen. Essentially when the mouse button is let go of.

The idea is to play a buzz sound with some feedback that they need to try again. I just can't find a way to tie the sound to the snap back.

Hi Kari and welcome to Heroes!

The snap back option if an object is dropped incorrectly doesn't have a trigger associated with it, so I'm not certain how you would set this up. You may want to use the "dropped correct/incorrect" states for each object, and then you could add the audio to play based on the item changing to the dropped incorrect state.

This is what I would do
