When I set playback speed of storyline player to 2x and jump to any slide with video, it plays with 2x speed but in video player playback speed setting shows 'Normal'.
This create confusion to the learner. Any solution for this?
I tried to replicate the behavior you described in a new Storyline 360 project file but I was unable to do so. In the attached file, I have two slides each with a video. When I set the playback speed of Slide 1 to 2x and then proceed to jump to Slide 2, the 2x speed doesn't carry over.
Would you mind trying to replicate the behavior you reported using my project file and letting me know if you are able to do so?
I am using the Playback speed button on SL player for entire course. When I set the speed for any screen to 2X and jump to the screen with video, the video plays at 2X speed. But if I open the speed setting of video it shows "Normal".

Testing the sample file Joe shared, I was unable to reproduce the behavior you mentioned. Would you be willing to share a Peek recording of the behavior as you are experiencing it?
Also, it would be helpful to take a closer look at one of the courses being affected by this issue. You can share a copy here in this discussion, or privately through a support case. We'll delete it from our system once troubleshooting is complete!
This is the published version of Joe's file. The only change I made is added Playback speed button on Storyline player.
Do the following steps to understand my issue:
1 - Set the playback speed of storyline slide to 2X
2- Click next button to jump to next screen - You will the video is actually playing on 2X speed
3 - Click on the playback speed button of video player - you will see the speed is showing as normal. it should show the actual speed at which video is playing.
As you can see, the 2X playback setting did not carry over to the next slide.

If the behavior is specific to your local installation, try doing a repair of Storyline 360 to see if this helps.

I followed the steps you outlined but unfortunately was unable to reproduce the behavior you are experiencing.
As you can see, the 2X playback setting did not carry over to the next slide.

On 1st slide, please use Storyline player playback speed button to set the speed and then go to next screen.
