Player / Output Window Size - Maximize Button Setting?

Hi Guys,

I've created a good number of courses in Articulate Storyline 2 over the last few years and they've performed very well. In fact, I just published an executable of my latest course for testing today and it looks great - - - but, as usual, the output window size is kinda small. It only takes up about 1/2 to 3/4 of my screen size (whether on my laptop or on a 2nd or 3rd monitor) - - - and it doesn't allow for enlarging or re-sizing to fit most or all of the screen size.

This hasn't been a problem expressed by any of our many course users over the last few years, but I would love for those completing the courses going forward to be able to size the window to their preference or even just have a simple maximize button that they can select that will automatically resize the course window to match their full screen size (that's actually my preference). Know what I mean?

Anyone know if this is a setting option for me (as the course author) and if so, how I can quickly accomplish this?

Hi Corey!

Articulate Storyline lets you control several aspects of the browser and player for your published course, including:

* The size of the browser window
* Whether the course stays locked at the same size or lets learners scale it by adjusting the size of their browser windows
* Whether the course launches in a separate window and, if so, the properties of that window

Hey Corey!

One setting that comes to mind in Leslie's suggestion is changing the Player size to Scale Player to fill browser window in Player > Other > Player Size:

So if your learners hit the maximize button in their browser window, the player will scale with the browser window like this:

Thanks, guys. Sorry I wasn't able to get back to you sooner. I had to travel to NYC yesterday to demo my course to the business. Went well!!

So, as far as following your setting instructions to give users the ability to resize the window, I guess I need to publish an executable of the course to see how it behaves after making that Player setting change.

I'm giving it a try now and will let you know how it goes!
