Playing Storyline from C: Drive

There are advantages to playing Storyline presentations directly from a computer’s internal hard drive. We publish for CD, place the folder on the C: Drive, and create a desktop shortcut to the story.exe file. The one disadvantage is that the presentation always displays at the resolution established by the Story Size setting. There is no Maximize button on the window that enables the picture to fill the screen regardless of the monitor’s resolution setting.
Is there a setting or a way to publish so we can play from the C: Drive and also use the Maximize button to make the window fill the screen?

Hi John! We do not have a toggle to full screen option, but I'm not sure if something in this thread may be able to assist you.
Hi John, Just curious if you rename the story.exe file? I'm wondering if it's possible. I'd like to be able to give the file on the desktop a more meaningful name.
Thanks!
yes, you can. I just tried it and it worked fine when I double clicked it.
It is actually called Launch_Story.exe, and I changed it to cow.exe and it worked fine.
I would not put it on the desktop; I would put a shortcut on the desktop, and name it whatever you want.
Great! Thanks, Walt.
