When I open the module in HTML 5 and click the Resources window, it just shows scroll keys and does not open a larger window to view the files in the Resources. Is there something that I can do to change that? Using regular HTML, the Resources window opens normally and the files within are easily viewed.
Hi, Lisa -- Thanks so much for your patience while I tested your file. Using Tempshare as described here, I altered end of the link from story.html to story_html5.html as you can see if you click below, Resources appear to be opening without incident from what I can see:
Please let me know if you are still seeing the same behavior when you click on the link I have provided, and we'll do what we can to investigate further.
I wonder if it is something about my browser, because as this screen capture shows, all I get is scroll arrows and no open window. I'll discuss it with IT, here.
After discussing it with IT - the link works correctly in Firefox and Safari but not Internet Explorer 8 (in Windows 10 or below), but it does work with Edge (Windows 10 standard browser). Thus, it appears to be a compatibility issue with IE, only.
Thanks for your follow up, Lisa and glad to hear you are all set! For the record, I was testing with the latest version of Chrome in both my Windows 7 VMWare Fusion virtual machine, and also the latest version of Chrome on my Mac. Please let us know if you should need additional help!
Thank you. I responded to the thread and was assisted on Friday. It turns out it was an html5 - internet explorer compatibility issue. Do you know if there are any efforts underway to fix it so that the html5 output runs correctly on Internet Explorer?

I was having the same issue and was directed to this thread. Now I understand there is an issue, I tried the regular html story file (not the html5) in IE and it worked fine. Is there any watchout in using just the html story file versus the html5?

Hi, Lisa -- So sorry to hear of your difficulties! Could you please share your file so we can take a closer look and run some testing?
Attached is the title slide with a pdf resource added. It shows fine in preview and in regular html - it does not show properly in HTML5.
Excellent, Lisa -- I will take a look at your file as soon as possible and will reply here with my findings. :)

Attached is the zip file - it is the html5 version that does not work - the regular story.html works fine.
Thank you for your help.

I'm not aware of any issues with just using the html - as long as it looks as it should in all the standard formats.
