I've added audio to one slide (1.2 Course Outline in the attached file) and I'm trying to synchronize the entrance of objects with audio with cue points. When I click the play button on the timeline, the playhead is not moving at all and audio is not playing. The audio plays perfectly when I try editing it, but nothing's happening on the timeline. Can anyone tell me what's wrong?
Hi, Natalie -- Thanks so much for your question! Although it took a few seconds to begin, the playhead did move for me when I hit the Play button on the timeline and the audio could also be heard without issue.
Hi Christie! I guess I was a bit impatient- I just noticed that indeed it does play after a few seconds. Is there any fix for this, or only the steps link you included above? It's located on a local drive in my Documents folder. My coworker is having the same issue with a project she's building, and I can't imagine a reinstall being the problem for both.
Hi, Natalie -- My apologies, but I am not aware of a way to make the timeline play or load more quickly. If you would like to share your thoughts with our product team, you are welcome to do so using this form.
Or perhaps others in the community might have additional suggestions they can share to assist. :)
Thanks so much Christie! I'll do that. It's not too bad when going through once; it was unnerving trying to play multiple times. Fortunately we have cue points, so the syncing can be done in one run-through! Thanks again for your help!
I hope this isn't too obvious, but you may want to try compressing your audio (if you are not already doing so) in order to make the file size a bit smaller. This would probably make it load faster. You could do this in your publishing properties.

Can you please take a look at this information, run through the steps listed, and let us know if issues persist?
