Please Help - Quiz results and layers disappearing

Jul 25, 2016

Hello.

I have tried to tidy up an interaction I was given by someone on Fire Safety training.

I am having two issues.

They built a pick many interaction I have adjusted and my trigger says

"Submit Interaction  Pick Many1 - Pick Many:

When the user clicks the submit button"

If I try to add in Submit results it is greyed out. (results1.png)

Basically I am trying to get the results to trigger in Moodle (Scorm Package) so that when they complete the activity another one is open to them.

The other issues is the slide after the quiz (same image on screen) allows them to essentially review why what the ticked in the check box exercise is correct. Each item has a trigger that reads

"Show Layer ***

When User Clicks

Change state of *** Scribble to Visited

When User Clicks"

However when the user gets to the last item, the layer does not show because the next button appears and I can no longer select any items as they are all counted as visited.

When I had the trigger reading as "Selected" rather than visited it would never show the next button as they were never all selected at the same time.

Okay -  the PNG helps -  The question said six items, so I kept limiting my choices to 6, but there are 7 correct items - I thought I was going crazy for a second or a walking fire hazard...

So - how are you displaying your "NEXT" Button -  Are you showing it on a Layer?  Because that Layer will prevent your last info layer from appearing.  If that is the case, then you may want to consider adding your Next Button to the base slide layer and setting its initial state to hidden.  And then just use a State change trigger to change it normal once all of the objects have been reviewed.

If you are not using it on a layer . . . what are the triggers to show the button?

Hi Tom,

I can't speak to the specifics of the Moodle grade book, but I uploaded a copy of your course with the same settings you're using to SCORM Cloud which is an industry standard for testing LMS content and the score passed correctly there. It's worth noting that you're only tracking one question so the score will either be 100% or 0% based on how you answer that question. If you'd like to take a look at testing at SCORM Cloud to help determine what's occurred with your LMS you may want to begin by reviewing this article.
