Pointing Motion Path to an Exact Location

I am developing a board game in Articulate 360 (Storyline) where the avatar advances one square at a time. I therefore have to create a new avatar and motion path for each square advanced (unless someone knows of a smoother way to do that). I would like the motion path to (a) hit the exact middle of the next square and (b) have the new avatar appear over where the first avatar ends so the movement looks seemless. I know how to use the "size and position" features on avatars (and objects) to lock in an exact location but do not see a similar feature for the motion path destination. Is there one, or is there a workaround?

Richard, see if this article helps with fine tuning your motion path start and end points... https://articulate.com/support/article/storyline-360-fine-tune-motion-paths
Additionally, thought you might find this helpful, complete listing of Storyline 360 tutorials https://community.articulate.com/series/articulate-storyline-360
Thanks Brian. The first time I read that article I didn't see how it would help. But re-reading it I realize that if I align the second motion path on the x or y of the first and the avatar remains the same size then it all fits together smoothly. Thanks.
