I ran into some difficulty today attempting to do a screencast in Storyline 2. The software installation process I was trying to capture includes pop-up windows. For some reason, these were not captured in the screencast, even though there was interactivity with them. I took three screencasts and each time was the same result. Has anyone ever experienced this and know how to fix it? Thank you.
I was trying to think of an application I could record that includes pop up windows, and I just did a simple practice in a Word doc to change elements that I knew would include pop ups - and those appeared as expected. When you recorded did you choose to "record a particular window" instead of just recording the desktop as a whole?
Also, some software applications may be pickier about the information that is available for Storyline to gather during a screen recording. I've seen this before especially with programs that require administrator access - and in that scenario, the user needed to ensure they were also running Storyline with administrator access.
