From my understanding it's possible to force Storyline to POST to the LMS after each slide completion by adding some JavaScript to the theme. Does anyone have more information and/or experience doing this in Storyline? What is the JavaScript code? Thanks ahead of time for the help!
Are you looking for the Resume data or for individual questions? The resume data is described here for how you can enable it within Storyline, or have it tracked by your LMS based on the Flash cookies. If you're looking for Javascript, there are certainly community members who could assist you here and I hope that they'll chime in!
The custom Javascript is something the community will have to help you out with. You may be able to find some other forum threads that are similar, and you can also look at the best practices examples here.
Hello Jeff, We are having trouble marking completion for AICC courses in our LMS. We would like to post the completion after each slide to the LMS to see if this improves our results without affecting the course performance.
How and where do you add this javascript in Storyline 2 (we also have a few studio courses with this issue)?

Hi Ashley,
I'm looking for the specific javascript you can add to a Storyline theme to ensure data is posted to the LMS after each slide completion.

Are you looking for something like this? It submits the course as completed.
//get LMS API
Var lmsAPI = parent;
//Set score; the first number is the score
lmsAPI.SetScore(100, 100, 0);
//set status; possible values: “completed”, “incomplete”, “failed”, “passed”
SetStatus(“completed”)
Thanks Jeff for sharing that here!

Hi Gabriele,
This thread is a bit older so I'm not certain Jeff is still subscribed - you may want to reach out to him directly using the "contact me" feature on his profile. Just in case it helps, there is an issue detailed here in regards to AICC content not reporting correctly if hosted in a cross domain environment.
