PPT import issue - most slides are fine but a few seem incomplete
Aug 20, 2020
Dear reader of this post,
I'm importing PowerPoint slides (97-2013 format) as the framework of a new e-learning module in Articulate Storyline 360. Most slides imported fine but a few seem incomplete. The attached figure shows an example. On the overview part on the left hand side the slides show as white, the actual slides shows only part of the a figure, many parts missing. The original PPT pictures consist different elements/objects. I've tried to re-import these slides which did not help. Does anyone have an idea what's going on an how to resolve? My workaround would be exporting the PPT picture elements as a picture file and importing it as a picture in Storyline but that's quit a hassle.
Regards,
Geert Jan

Hi Geert,
Thanks for contacting us and sharing that you're having difficulty importing your .ppt file into Storyline.
With your permission, I'd like to take a look at your .ppt file to investigate what's happening. You can share it publicly here, or send it to me privately by uploading it here. I'll delete it when I'm done troubleshooting.
Hi Leslie,
I've uploaded the .ppt file already a while ago. Did it help you to get more insight into the issue?

Geert Jan
Hi Geert,
Thanks for the heads up! I was able to locate your support case and it looks like my colleague Lianne took a look and responded on 8/28.
Could you take a look in your spam/junk folder to see if you can see her reply? The e-mail would be from support@articulate.com.
Hi Leslie,
Thanks for your reply. I've checked my e-mails for 8/28 (including the junk box). I cannot find the e-mail. Probably an issue on my side as I had a problem with my Outlook. Can you please have the e-mail resend?
Regards,
Geert Jan
Thanks, Geert Jan.
I've re-sent the e-mail and shared the difficulty you're having with Lianne as well. Let me know if you're still not seeing it.
Yes, got it. Thanks a lot Leslie!
