When I imported a PPT to convert to a StoryLine project, it appears that all the text boxes got converted to images. I recently imported another PowerPoint file w/ no troubles. Any suggestions on how to fix this?
Storyline looks in the PPT XML file and recreates the shapes, texts, etc. Sometimes it can't recreate and the shape gets converted to an image.
This usually happens if one uses the smart objects or perhaps some of the effects in PPT and applies them to a shape. If Storyline can't recreate the object if will convert it to an image.
Thanks, Tom. It did it when I copy/pasted individual text boxes from PPT to SL also. The custom bullet points in the PPT's template must have tripped up the conversion. The work-around is to copy/paste the text itself rather than the box.
