Hi Team! We have built a course in Storyline with a per-test and a post-test question; the LMS displays only the best score among these two, now I need pre-test score and Post-test Score. Is there a way to push, store, or save the per-test data externally to a spreadsheet or database? One more issue is that our LMS doesn’t support xAPI. But we need to submit the pre-test data as well for our client.
Sending multiple quiz scores to your LMS for the same course isn't supported. You'll need to decide which of your quiz results you'd like to send to your LMS. There is however one method that you can check out which involves saving the score that doesn't get sent to the LMS to a variable and sending the value of this variable to the LMS. This article explains this method:
While we don't support sending saved data to an external spreadsheet or database, the article above will send the score of one of your quizzes as a survey result to your LMS, making it available for reporting purposes. This way, you will have access to both the pre-test and post-test scores of your learners.
This is more a limitation of scorm as you can only have one end point stored. If you need both maybe best to split into separate scorms and sequence in the LMS
