I created my own custom controls and buttons for reviewing a quiz as the client doesn't want to use the Storyline player. I've disabled the previous and next buttons on the slide controls. It all looks fine until I review the quiz, but then the player next and back buttons reappear!
When I used Storyline 1 this worked fine for me, but in since upgrading to Storyline 3 I can't get rid of the buttons on the player itself.
Worked great for me once I had checked the Next and Previous buttons in the slide properties. This allowed me to see the buttons on the triggers drop down and change their states to 'hidden'.
I just wanted to say thanks for this, I've been looking for an easy way to suppress the player buttons easily and this is a great solution. I never noticed it was possible to make the player buttons transparent.

Hi Liz
on the master slide layout that you use for your quiz slides add triggers:
Change state of Next button to hidden when timeline starts
Change state of Prev button to hidden when timeline starts.
If that doesn't work or you still see a slight flash of the button - change the button colours in the player to transparent
Hi Wendy
Thanks for your help!

Much appreciated!
Oops - sorry I forgot that step. Glad you got it sorted Liz.
