Is there a way to prevent a learner from opening a separate browser window and relaunching the course (in an attempt to find the correct quiz response)?
I look forward to hearing other ISD professionals approach to the situation.
You cannot stop them opening another browser or browser window, and if they are researching an answer I don't see a problem with this finding an answer may mean that learning takes place.
I have to agree with Phil. There isn't a way to prevent opening another tab or browser window, or they could look it up on their phone. The important part is they are learning. I've seen times when foremen would tape the answers to questions in a drawer so people could pass a course. That one worried me and ticked me off.
Why would you want to? Is the learner not going to have the browser in real life to refer to?
I have encouraged this in the course I built because it doesn't really matter how they get the right answer as long as it is right in the real world application.

I believe this would have to be done in the Platform that is hosting your course not the storyline file itself.
